After many years in PDR, it’s pretty hard for a new tool to impress me. Most tools just do one thing a little differently. One4All actually changed the way I approach certain dents. Induction, electrode and a normal push can become part of the same repair process instead of three separate techniques.
I used to have different machines for different situations and was constantly switching between them. Now I keep the One4All next to the car, grab the inductor or electrode I need, hit the trigger and work. Steel, aluminum, stretched dent — whatever comes up. Once you get used to this workflow, you really don’t want to go back.
This is one of those tools where you keep discovering new ways to use it. On the same dent I can work with induction, make a push, then use the electrode to get the metal back under control. You can make incredibly small corrections. I’m still surprised by how many different techniques you can combine with this machine.
One4All has become one of those machines I want right next to me in the shop. I used to rely on different tools for different situations, but now I simply grab the inductor or electrode I need, hit the trigger and keep working. What impresses me most is how many different techniques you can combine on the same dent. The more you use it, the more possibilities you find.
The 4 mm inductor is a game changer for me. On small highs and sharp dents, you can be extremely precise and put the heat exactly where you want it. If I need to work a larger area, I just swap to a bigger inductor. Once you start matching the inductor size to the dent, you wonder how you worked without it before.
I’ve worked with electrodes before, but the AC low-voltage approach is a completely different experience. No sticking, no aggressive current hit, and you can control the metal much more precisely. Even when making tiny corrections, you can really feel what the metal is doing. I honestly can’t imagine going back to a conventional electrode system.
One4All has opened up completely new options for me on stretched dents. I can make a push, use the electrode from underneath and, if needed, work the same area with induction from the top. Instead of fighting the metal, you can gradually bring it back under control. I’ve saved panels that I would have seriously considered sending to the body shop before.
The electrode handle isn’t just a holder for the electrode. It’s built like a proper heavy-duty PDR tool. I can actually use it like a whale tail to push the dent and then use the electrode in the same area without changing tools. Anyone who works on difficult stretched dents will immediately understand why that’s useful.
After using it for a while, you can tell this machine wasn’t designed only behind an engineering desk. The trigger, power adjustment on the handle, different inductors, the electrode tool — everything is there for a reason. You can tell professional PDR techs were involved in the development. Nearly a decade of development really shows.
It’s hard to explain until you actually use it, but the machine just feels smooth. Hit the trigger and the response is immediate and predictable. There’s no aggressive hit and you’re not guessing what the metal is going to do. Especially in electrode mode, you can work in really small steps and feel like you’re in control of the metal the whole time.
Speed matters on a hail job. When you’ve got a roof with hundreds of dents, you don’t want to keep switching machines and walking around the car. With One4All, I just grab whatever I need and keep working. It might only save a few seconds on one dent, but across an entire hail car, that time really adds up.
What I like most is that I’m now willing to take on panels I would’ve been much more cautious about before. Deep dent, stretched area, nasty crown — you’ve got more ways to attack the problem. One4All doesn’t fix the dent for you, but it gives you a much bigger arsenal to save the panel with PDR.
At first I thought One4All was basically several tools packed into one machine. It’s much more than that. The real difference is how you can combine techniques. I can push the dent, work it with the electrode from underneath, use induction from the top and make tiny corrections until the metal is exactly where I want it. The more you use it, the more possibilities you discover.
